Belle Isle Sur Risle - Chateau Hotel & Spa

The small castle has charm and is located in a quiet area. We booked half board and very much enjoyed both the champagne breakfast as the elaborate dinners with decent quality food and excellent wines. Staff was friendly. The room was large with a small terrace and the bed was comfortable.

The island setting gives the hotel a mystique to its location in a pretty region of France. our bedroom had a private terrace where we enjoyed afternoon drinks in some late summer sunshine. The evening dinner was exceptional and well worth the money. The staff were very attentive and professional. Breakfast was also very good with an excellent range of buffet choose including some hot food options.

Tim and all the staff were superb. kind, considerate and extremely passionate & knowledgeable about Normandy. the facilities were excellent, the kayaking made for an exciting trip, complete peace & tranquil making our stay truly relaxing. having air conditioning was bliss and a real bonus helping the family to get a good nights sleep. The quality of the food was wonderful, a strong selection of wines to compliment our dinner.

The location was perfect, very beautiful and peaceful. From the moment I arrived until my departure, the service was impeccable, making my stay truly memorable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a remarkable culinary experience and outstanding service.

Beautiful property well kept, nice lake , excellent service( Michel he is a great asset to the property , excellent customer skills ), good food and wine, clean rooms, nice spa and swimming pools.
